At School Today

At school today we learn about Egypt. It was really fun learning about Egypt. We learn maths it was hard but when I keep tring I get it right. We learn take away another word for subtracting and addition,times tables.2.4,3,5 and 10's. I had lots of fun at school.

Next Story of on Wednesday

Sallam everybody do you remember I wrote about on Wednesday. Well this is the next part of it. We already had the assembly all the parents came. Reception did about Diwali, they sang the diwali song, then Mrs Carter tell a little story how rama and sita went home and she lit some candles and put it near the window. Then they played the sticks, it was loud.

Year 1 and year 2 did a song about harvest time it was lovely everyone was claping so loud, I like it to. Hasya, my little sister who is in year 1 sang it too. I like it when she sing it.

Now this is the part where I stand up and we were doing an acting, some of my friends were acting. These are the actors, my friend Gilson was guru nanak, Baley, Husain, Ben, Kai, Olivia were the family and friends, I was the narator for the play, I was a little bit nervous, but alhamdulillah I felt happy, I think I did it well even mrs Crabtree said that I read beutifully.

alhamdulillah my ummi and and abah came. I was very happy!

On Wednesday

On Wednesday I'am going to have a celebration theme day. Year 4 are having a celebration about Eid. We, in year 3 are having a celebration about Sikhism. We are going to present guru na nak. He is a special person for Sikhism because he discovered Sikhism. Mason and I are going to read the story about guru na nak during the presentation and we are going to wear our flower galerns and wave our flag it has a simbol of Sikhism. Then we are going to sing a Sikhism song Mrs Bansal brought it for us yesterday.

I think I like doing a presentation because it is lots of fun. I hope my mum and dad will come. yeah

Book that I read - The funny dream

"Well, I never!" said the turtle.
" Did you see that ostrich fly?"
" Well, I never said the ostrich.
" There's a sheep in the sky."

" well,I never!" said the sheep.
" Did you see that tortoise run?"
" Well, I never said the tortoise.
" There's a mole in the sun."
" Well, I never!" said the mole.
" Did you hear that dormouse roar?"
" Well, I never!" the dormouse.
" What's that there on the floor?"

" Well, I never!" said the girl.
" I thought I heard a scream."
" Well, I never!" said the girl.
" What a funny dream!"

I think the story is quite funny because I never see a ostrich fly and a tortoise run. Tortoise are slow.

The BMW and the Truck

Once upon a time, there lived a BMW and an old truck. The BMW said, “I am the best racer in the whole wide world”. “No you’re not,” said the truck. “ Okay then lets have a race,” said the BMW and of they went. The BMW was really fast then, suddenly it broke down. As soon as the BMW was fixed the truck just got to the finish line and won but the BMW is sad because it didn’t win the race.

Moral: slow and steady wins the race.
